The Role


As a key member of the HSET team you will provide a high-level management and administration support, working collaboratively across the HSET team. Responsible for analysing and reporting on HSE data (weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually), looking at ways to optimise data collection and reporting. You will also be responsible for

  • Assisting with the creation, preparation and control of all Health and Safety related correspondence, documentation and reports, including distribution of and monitoring compliance with actions.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of meetings, agendas, minutes and reports to Zero Harm Councils
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and receipting purchase orders
  • Monitoring and communicating budgets
  • Providing HSET Project support

About You


Reporting to the HSEQ Systems & Assurance Manager this Brisbane based position will see you provide administrative and reporting support to the Group HSE team. To be successful in this role you will have proven experience with data analysis ideally in a Health & Safety role as well as:

  • Energetic, intuitive self-starter, you naturally thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written), attention to detail, ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities and quick learner of following workflows
  • A background in HSE, preferably in mining or heavy manufacturing
  • Exceptional data reporting and accuracy skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • Experience with preparation of written reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong document management system knowledge
  • Have demonstrated experience using SAP, HSE software and MS Office suite
